About us

Armidale Spinners and Weavers are a relatively small but active and friendly group of people who enjoy working with fibres and yarns. We enjoy spinning, weaving, felting, dyeing, knitting, crochet and a variety of other textile crafts.

Our meeting times are:

Thursdays, from about 11am to 2pm

Saturdays – the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, from about 2pm to 5pm

Our new premises are in the large room under the Grandstand at the Armidale Showground on Dumaresq Street – you can drive in to the Showground through the main gate (assuming there’s no major event on), and park right in front of our room.

The photo in the header of our website is a detail of Pauline’s gorgeous rug, knitted from handspun and commercial yarn, much of it dyed by Pauline, who does amazing things with colour and texture. The photo below shows Pauline (standing) displaying the finished rug.
